Vanessa Facendola, M.S., CCC-SLP

Vanessa Facendola is a NJ licensed Speech and Language Pathologist and NJ Speech and Language Specialist. She maintains her national Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Vanessa holds a Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from William Paterson University. She received an undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from The College of New Jersey.

Vanessa gained specialized experience in various professional settings as a Speech and Language Pathologist, including inpatient/acute-care and outpatient facilities, special and regular education schools, and in-home early intervention. After becoming a mother and experiencing breastfeeding and food selectivity with her children, Vanessa developed an interest in pediatric feeding disorders. Vanessa has sought to build a private practice focused on treating each individual patient’s comprehensive needs by utilizing an appropriate combination of therapeutic techniques. She believes that the relationship between therapist, patient, and family plays a pivotal role in the therapy process, and strives to help families create optimum carry over and success at home.

Vanessa also continues to work as part of a NJEIS Targeted Evaluation Team, conducting developmental evaluations in the birth to three population to determine eligibility for early intervention services. She enjoys spending time in the local community with her husband and two sons.
